My dad has told me stories of the 2 gauge shotgun CANNONS. They sound like they were too good at killing birds. (they are illegal now)

Did you know there are pistols that fire 410 shells? I WANT ONE! IT LOOKS COOL! (looks like a revolver if you wanted to know) I also want a Desert Eagle but it's expensive. Anyway I'm probably going to do my hunter safty course REALLY SOON. I can't wait. I wan't to try my dad's G3 on a turkey. My dad has a large assortment of guns. (G3, M14, M16, 20 Gauge, 12 gauge semi auto, 410, several 22.s and many others I can't name including a bunch of pistols And a VERY old rifle) My dad sayes I'll get the 20 gauge. When I'm older, I'll buy a fully auto, P90 which is my favorite sub machine gun. (yes fully autos are legal...in some states)

I am not sure what kind of gun I use. My pap gives me smaller guns so they dont hurt my shoulder and I am not very strong.

I'm hoping to get one this year for Christmas. My cousin Ray has a .410. It's really neat.

You might try using a 20 gauge or a 410. That would be easier on your shoulder

I used to go quail hunting and deer hunting with my uncle and cousin in Georgia and Alabama. We went up to West Virginia at one point as well.

I haven't gone hunting yet. Though me and my uncle are supposed to go hunting for deer.

It seems like fun.

Do you go hunting?

Sep 30, 2008 3:28 PM

Last Sunday, my dad took me with him out hunting for Ruffed Grouse. That was really cool, even though I made too much noise and scared them. It was just nice to be out in the woods with my dad. I got to shoot his 12 gauge shotgun, but it nearly knocked me down, and bruised my shoulder. I have a .22, but I can't use that on grouse.

Do any of you do any hunting in your area? If so, what do you hunt for?
